Changing or Canceling an Order
If your order has been placed, but has not been sent to production, you can make changes or cancel your order at no charge.
If your order has already been sent to production, and is not a non-returnable product*, we will attempt to cancel the order with the manufacturer and a $25 cancellation fee will apply if successful. The manufacturer of the product has the final say as to whether the item can be canceled or not.
If the item has already reached the shipping department or we were unable to cancel the order, the order will deliver to you and you may follow the returns process to return the item.
*Non-Returnable Products: The following products cannot be canceled or returned once in production: Sunbrella, Form-FIt, WeatherShield HD, and WeatherShield HP in the colors Black, Bright Blue, or Red and Special Designs in any fabric.

Additionally, you can log into your account to retrieve this information once it has been posted. Please note: most of our products are custom-made-to-order, and require a production lead time prior to shipping.

Returns Policy
- Returnable items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the date of delivery.
- Returning items must be clean and in their original, unused condition. All returning items are inspected by the manufacturer and must be free of tire marks, grease, dirt, or other damage that would prevent that item from being returned to stock for resale. The inspection is conducted by Covercraft Industries and Coverking, and they are the final authority as to whether the item is returnable to stock.
- Items that are deemed not returnable to stock will be shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.

This includes, but is not limited to, all types of vehicles such as golf carts, street rods, kit cars, antique vehicles, customized vans, trailers, and trucks with aftermarket equipment (grill guards, push bars, roll bars, shells, exterior visors, non-factory aftermarket spoilers, ground effects packages, etc.). We stand behind our special design work, and if there is a problem with the fitment of the cover, we will work with you until the cover fits properly. - NON-RETURNABLE COVERKING CAR COVERS:

Products that have been customized with embroidery, silk screening, or manufacturer logos are not returnable. - VEHICLES MANUFACTURED PRIOR TO 1950:
Covercraft custom-fit car covers made for vehicle models 1949 or older, are not returnable. - UVS HEATSHIELDS & UR FLEX SHADE SUNSHADES: Covercraft UVS100 and Flex Shade SunScreens are not returnable.
- INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Packages that were shipped to destinations outside the USA are not returnable.
Returns Procedure
- DETERMINE IF YOUR PRODUCT IS RETURNABLE
Before initiating a return, please read the return policy outlined above and verify that your product is a returnable item. - REQUEST A RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RMA) NUMBER
To request a return, simply log into your account. Click on your order, then click "Request RMA" and fill out the appropriate information. Once the request is submitted and approved, you will receive return instructions by email. PLEASE NOTE: Return Authorization numbers expire 10 days after issued. Returns received after the 10 day period will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.
Return Shipping
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If the product you received was damaged or did not fit due to an error on our part, we will pay for the return shipping back to us. If you ordered incorrectly either online or by phone, the return shipping costs are your responsibility.
Restock Fees on Returned Items
A 15% restock fee is assessed for all returned products. To avoid this fee, you may exchange the item for a more suitable product.
Refunds
After we receive your product, and it is deemed returnable to stock, a refund will be issued to the original payment type. The amount of your refund will be equal to the purchase price of your product less the 15% re-stocking fee.
Returns Period
Returns and exchanges are accepted for 30 days from the date of delivery on returnable items. After 30 days all sales are considered final.
Production Times
Our products are custom made to order and are not "off the shelf" products. Production times vary for each product. Please open the "Production & Delivery" tab on the product page for the current production time for your product.
Domestic Shipping
Car Cover World ships FREE to the 48 continental US States for most orders over $100 through UPS & Fedex Ground.
For expedited shipping, we offer 2-Day and Overnight Shipping. PLEASE NOTE: Most of our products are custom-made-to-order and require time in production prior to shipping.
International Shipping
Car Cover World does not ship internationally for all products. Car covers and seat covers are shipped to Canada on a case-by-case basis and all sales shipped internationally are final and non-returnable. VAT, Duty, Customs fees, and other taxes levied by your government on imported goods are the customer's responsibility. Please check with your local authorities to calculate any additional costs before ordering.
APO / FPO
We're proud to offer free APO/FPO shipping to our US military personnel and their families stationed overseas. Please Note: APO/FPO addresses have size restrictions for inbound packages. Please be sure to check with the appropriate APO/FPO personnel for restrictions before ordering large items. Most car covers and seat covers are not oversized and will ship normally to APO/FPO addresses. Please call our office if you have any questions prior to placing your order.
Special Delivery Instructions
We are unable to issue special shipping instructions to delivery drivers (i.e. leave package with neighbor, leave package on porch, etc.). You may leave a note for the driver on your door with special instructions; however, the delivery of the package is at the discretion of the driver. Once your item has shipped and you have received a tracking number, you can give special delivery instructions to the shipping company handling your package.
Signature Required
Car Cover World reserves the right to add a Signature Required to any shipment. To waive this delivery requirement, simply visit www.upsmychoice.com and follow the instructions to create your account and add your shipment. From there, you'll be able to modify the shipment and electronically sign for your package.
Warranty
Most of the products we sell carry a manufacturer's warranty. Each product has a slightly different warranty period as outlined on the individual product pages. Warranty claims are typically for defects in materials and workmanship that caused the product to become unusable within the published warranty period under normal use. After a factory inspection, the manufacturer will determine if the product meets the warranty criteria and will repair or adjust your product accordingly. Warranty does not cover fading, which occurs naturally on all products used outdoors, or weather resistance of fabric.

Are there ties to hold the cover down?
Along with your car cover purchase, we recommend buying the optional cable lock kit or gust guard kit. Depending on your situation, one might suit you better then the other. Both of the products will help keep your car cover secured to your vehicle. If you live in a windy or breezy area, we generally recommend the gust guard over the cable lock kit.
Can a cover help prevent my vehicle from being stolen?
Yes, it certainly can! If you live in an area prone to crime or auto theft, a car cover can act as the perfect theft deterrent. Typically most thiefs are not going to take the extra time and steps necessary to remove the cover. This is especially true if you are using the optional cable lock kit for your car cover. Using a car cover with the lock kit will encourage the thief to choose another vehicle. The cover not only hides the car, but keeps prying eyes from seeing what's inside. The car cover is an all-around good choice for limiting a car break-in or complete auto theft.

My wife is about 5 feet tall and wants a cover for her car. What fabrics would you suggest?
This is a very common question. The first thing to note is that lighter is not necessarily better. A single layer cover, such as the Weathershield HP or Reflectect, can be difficult to use in any kind of breeze, however a heavy cover can also be difficult for a person of small stature to handle. Bulky covers can be difficult to handle and store. Fabrics that weigh between 4 and 7 ounces per square yard are considered ideal, and most of our fabrics fall within that range. Because every situation is different, we recommend calling one of our car cover experts to help choose the exact right cover you.
Will a Car Cover scratch my car?
No. We use only the finest materials in the making of our car covers and none of our car cover fabrics will scratch your vehicle. However, it is important that the car cover is used properly. A cover is intended to be used on a clean vehicle. When car covers are installed over top of dirty cars, the existing dirt can rub against the paint, causing fine lines in the finish. We always recommend a quick rinse or dusting prior to installing a car cover.

What's the difference between an indoor and outdoor car cover?
Car covers offer many protection solutions for both indoor and outdoor situations. An indoor car cover protects your vehicle from dust and dirt while in your garage or in long term storage. Many of our indoor car covers also protect from common dings and dents that are common to the hustle and bustle of garages (bikes, toys, and kids). Indoor car covers are not intended to be used outside. An outdoor car cover offers various degrees of weather protection from dust, dirt, UV rays, rain, snow, and even light hail. There are over 20 different fabrics to choose from, and each one performs slightly differently. What is the Difference Between Custom and Universal Fit?
A universal fit cover (also called sem-custom fit), accommodates a variety of vehicles within a certain size and shape group. This type of cover offers a general or "casual" fit and is NOT a perfectly tailored cover like a Custom-Fit cover is. Universal covers are great for sharing between vehicles, whereas a custom-fit cover will only fit 1 specific vehicle. Mirror pockets and antenna pockets are not included with a universal-fit cover. Which cover is best for me?
Car covers are made using all different types of fabrics. Some fabrics are suited for outdoor, some for indoor, and some cover fabrics are good for both indoor and outdoor. Are there pockets for the mirrors?
Mirror pockets come standard on nearly all custom fit covers, with the exception of certain antique vehicles. Semi-Custom fit car covers do not have mirror pockets.

Any suggestions on how to keep my vehicle cooler when I use a car cover?
Other than parking in the shade, because most of our better fabrics will protect against bird droppings and tree sap, the best thing to do is to lower your side windows about two inches. Ambient temperature builds inside enclosed spaces, and if you open the windows slightly, you'll allow air to circulate, just like it circulates under the cover. Some of our fabrics offer more heat insulation than others, simply because they are multi-layered and are more effective at keeping heat away from the vehicle surface, but any cover will help reduce the vehicle temperature on a hot day. Our top recommendations for protecting my UV are the Sunbrella, Evolution, Reflectect, and Autobody Armor.
