In environments of extreme wind where the cover may vibrate or move on the vehicle, seams of certain fabrics such as the Weathershield HD have, in the past caused light swirling in some dark colored, high gloss paints and finishes. While not necessary for each and every application, this added protection can insure that the wax or acrylic coatings of your vehicle stay shining and spot free.
