Warranty – Defender Car Covers
A limited warranty is provided for the Defender Car Covers. These covers include the Weatherguard Extreme, Weatherguard, Superguard, and the Defender Light. Car Cover World provides the original purchaser warranty coverage for the original purchased cover. This limited warranty protects against defects in material and workmanship as well as the cover becoming unserviceable. The Warranty does not cover damage occurring to the cover that is outside of the manufacturer’s control, such as storm and wind damage, animal and rodent damage, covers torn due to freezing to the surface of a vehicle, fabric fading which occurs naturally, and any other outside factors.
To submit a warranty claim, please send photos of your damaged cover to [email protected] with your name and order number in the subject. Please include a detailed description of the issues you are experiencing. Our warranty team will review your claim and get back to you within 3-5 days. In some cases, we will require the purchaser to send the cover back to us for closer inspection. Once it is determined that the cover is covered under warranty, the cover will be replaced. If the cover is less than 1 year old, the cover will be replaced at no charge and the customer will pay shipping of $15. If the cover is older than 1 year old, a replacement fee of $25 will apply, plus $15 shipping. Once the original purchased cover is replaced under warranty service, the warranty is considered complete. Covers will only be replaced during the specified warranty period one time. Returns – Defender Car Covers: Defender Car Covers may be returned for credit, exchange, or refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. Covers returning for refund will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returning covers must have a return authorization number issued by Car Cover World Customer Service at 888-270-0411 and be in new, unused condition without damage, dirt, or other marks. After 30 days, covers are only accepted for warranty service.
