Covercraft products always focus on maintaining a breathable quality to the fabric in order to allow excess moisture to evaporate and keep heat to a minimum during hot weather. However, no car cover is waterproof because this would not allow this moisture to escape and could result in serious water damage to your vehicle. Our covers have different levels of water resistance, not allowing water molecules to penetrate, but the fabric is still breathable to avoid this potentially serious problem. If all you are looking for is something waterproof, a car cover is not the solution.

Why a Custom Car or Truck Cover?
Universal and semi-custom covers had been around quite awhile before Covercraft identified the market potential for custom patterned covers and began catering to enthusiasts, who wanted a more "tailored-fit" for the cover being used to protect their pride and joy.
Custom-fit covers follow the exact contours of the vehicle. The patterns are designed so the cover protects all of the vehicle's sheet metal and extend at least half way down the tire. Because custom-fit covers are tailored to the vehicle, they won't move around in the wind as much as a universal type cover would. Also, since the universal type (Ready-Fit) covers fit a variety of vehicles within a particular size group, ready fit covers do not have mirror pockets. Custom covers do have mirror pockets on most vehicles except older vehicles where the mirror is typically very small and the pocket is not needed.
We are constantly adding to our collection of over 45,000 car cover patterns in our computerized library, so there is very little chance that we won’t already have a pattern for your car. However, if you do search our database and find that we don’t already have a pattern, we will happily create one for you using a dimension sheet.

- Double stitched overlapped seams are strong and durable.
- Neoprene elastic is sewn into the front and rear hems to help hold the cover in place.
- Reinforced, non-scratch grommets include a protective flap on the backside and can be used with a tie-down rope or vinyl coated cable and lock.
